The racial makeup of the county is 96.23% White, 0.27% Black or African American, 1.98% Native American, 0.43% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.30% from other races, and 0.77% from two or more races. 0.69% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
