Clear Lake is a region in parts of Harris and Galveston County in Texas.
The area also known as "Clear Lake" is made up of a few cities.
These include:
and parts of:
- Houston (Such as Clear Lake City)
- League City
- Webster
- Pasadena.
Clear Lake is named, of course, for Clear Lake, a lake which empties into Galveston Bay.
National News:
- Andrea Yates of Clear Lake City, Houston drowned her five children in a bathtub during the summer of 2001.
- Clara Harris murdered her multi-millionaire husband, dentist David Harris, by running over him with her Mercedes-Benz at a Nassau Bay, Texas hotel after discovering he was having an affair.
