Saguache County is a county located in the U.S. state of Colorado. As of 2000, the population is 5,917. The county seat is Saguache.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 8,211 km² (3,170 mi²). 8,206 km² (3,168 mi²) of it is land and 5 km² (2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.06% water.
