Chrysler engines
- 1938-1941 Willys/Jeep 134
- 1946-1972 Willys/Jeep 134 S-head/L-head
- Jeep 2.5 engine - A 2.5 liter straight-4 version of the old AMC Straight 6 engine was used by Jeep, Eagle, and Dodge.
- Chrysler K engine - Chrysler developed a specialized straight-4 engine for the K-cars, referred to as the K-car engine or Trans Four. This 2.2 liter engine was eventually expanded to 2.5 liters, and fuel injection and turbocharging was added.
- Chrysler Neon engine - Chrysler modified the 2.2 liter Chrysler K engine substantially for a 2.0 liter straight-4 for the new Dodge Neon compact car. This same engine was expanded to 2.4 liters for use in the Cirrus/Stratus/Breeze and later used in a number of Chrysler small cars and minivans. Turbocharged variants made their way into the PT Cruiser and the Dodge SRT-4.
- Tritec engine - Chrysler and BMW teamed up on a new 1.6 liter engine for subcompact cars to be built in Brazil. Although this engine is not sold in North America in any Chrysler vehicle, it is available in the Mini Cooper from BMW, and is used in international Neons.
- Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance - Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Chrysler are working together on a joint-venture 4-cylinder engine in 1.8, 2.0, and 2.4 L sizes.

- AMC Straight-6 engine - A straight-6 designed by American Motors Corporation and used by Jeep
- Jeep 225 V6 - A 90° V6 based on the GM 3800 engine
- Chrysler Australian engine - The Australian straight sixes was built on a basic design intended for use in American trucks. They changed from the slant six to Australian-built 215, 245, and 265 sixes in 1970. The Aussie models had hemispherical heads, so the 3-2barrel Weber version could honestly be called a Hemi Six-Pack.

- Chrysler 3.3 engine - A V6 for midsize cars. It grew from 3.3 L in 1990 to 3.8 L, and 3.5 and 3.2 L versions are in use today.

- Chrysler LH engine - A compact, modern 2.7 L V6 for use in the LH cars

Chrysler's small-block V8 engines all derive from the classic A engine:
- Chrysler A engine - Chrysler's first small-block V8.
- 1964-present Chrysler LA engine - An evolution of the A engine, and extremely successful. The original LA design was in use until recently, as were V6 and V10 engines based on this design. Today, the only LA-derived engine design currently in use is the Viper V10. (273/318/340/360)
- Chrysler PowerTech engine - Chrysler's new 4.7 liter V8 for Jeep
- 5.7 liter Hemi - The modern Hemi, introduced in 2002.
- 6.1 liter Hemi - A larger modern Hemi, coming in 2004.
