Mauville City, known as Kinsetsu City (キンセツシティ Kinsetsu Shiti) in the original Japanese, is a junction city in the Hoenn region in the fictional world of Pokémon. Roads from Mauville lead west to Verdanturf Town, south to Slateport City, east to Fortree City, and north to Fallarbor Town and Lavaridge Town.

Places of interest
Gym
Wattson is a local figure that trains Electric-type Pokémon. His gym is equipped with electrical fields that alternate and block a challenger's path.
Rydel's Cycles
A bike shop. Rydel is a benevolent shop owner who sometimes gives his mechandise away to travelers. Trainers may choose between a Mach Bike or Acro Bike. Rydel will hold the other bike for the player until he or she decides to switch bikes. It is preferred for trainers to take the Mach Bike first.
Game Corner
A casino featuring slot machines and roulette. Players can win dolls and TMs.
New Mauville
An underground facility a bit southeast of the city. Holds the city's power generator. Also home to many Electric-type Pokemon.
Cycling Road
As this name suggests, this is only availble to trainers with bicycles. This cycling road is comparably shorter than the other cycling roads found in the other Pokémon games. If players ride on a Mach Bike from Mauville to Slateport City, a short safety rating will be given to them.
