Littleroot Town (Mishiro Town (ミシロタウン Mishiro Taun) in the original Japanese version) is a fictional city in the Pokémon series, located in the Hoenn region. It is a small town with three buildings, but it is a important place in the beginning of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Places of interest
Your house
The place of residence of the main character. It will be on the left if the player chooses the male character, and on the right if the player chooses female.
Professor Birch's lab
The laboratory of Professor Birch is located here. Unlike the previous Pokémon games, the player does not receive his or her first Pokémon in the lab.
This is the place where the player receives the Pokédex after saving Professor Birch from a Poochyena in the wild.
Littleroot Town in the animé
In the first Hoenn episode of the animé, May rides her bike to Littleroot Town to get her starter Pokémon from Professor Birch. However, the Prof. has left to help Ash and Pikachu. The rest of that episode happens outside the town, but the group later return to the lab, where May chooses Torchic.
