Denderleeuw is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Denderleeuw proper, Iddergem and Welle. On January 1st, 2004 Denderleeuw had a total population of 17,028 (8,374 males and 8,654 females). The total area is 13.77 km² which gives a population density of 1236.27 inhabitants per km².
