William Stamps Farish IV

Template:Mergewith William Stamps Farish IV (born March 17, 1939) (but usually known as WSF III), grandson of the Standard Oil president whom financed Heinrich Himmler and whom Harry Truman accused of treasonous dealings with the Nazis.
He is the owner of Lane's End Farm in Versailles, Ky., and is a supporter and generous contributor to many University of Kentucky programs.[1] (http://www.mc.uky.edu/mcpr/news/2000/August/farish.htm)
He was a personal aide to Zapata chairman George H. W. Bush during Bush's unsuccessful 1964 campaign for the Senate. During his presidency, Bush placed his businesses in trust with Farish while president.

He was appointed US ambassador to the United Kingdom on July 11, 2001.
