Viljandi County or Viljandimaa (Estonian: Viljandi maakond or Viljandimaa) is a County or maakond of Estonia. It is located in southern Estonia bordering to Pärnu, Järva, Jõgeva, Tartu and Valga counties.

History
Viljandimaa was an important centre of commerce and power in the middle ages — there are a number of castle ruins there.
