Pärnu County (Estonian: Pärnumaa) is a County (maakond) in the country of Estonia.
It is located in the southwest of Estonia bordering to Lääne County, and to the Baltic Sea. Across the Gulf of Riga, there is the island of Saaremaa.

The County Government (Maakonnavalitsus) is lead by a Governor (maavanem).
Tourism
The city of Pärnu is a popular holiday resort for Estonians and increasingly for Non-Estonians, e.g. from Sweden, Finland,Germany, and Russia.
