Ida-Viru County

Ida-Viru County or Eastern Virumaa (Estonian: Ida-Viru maakond or Ida-Virumaa) is one of the counties of Estonia. This is the most northeast part of the country. The majority of industrial and power capacities of Estonia are located in Ida-Viru. The county contains the greatest deposits of slate - the main mineral of Estonia.
