User:Enochlau

Hihi,

My name is Enoch Lau, and my interests lie in sciences, in particular physics, computing and maths, so you'll find many of my submissions and illustrations in these areas... although recently, I've taken to doing more copyediting work, and participating in the democractic side of Wikipedia :)

I attended Fort Street High School in Sydney, and I'm currently studying B Sc (Advanced) (majoring in Computer Science [update: I must say applied maths isn't that bad...]) and LLB at The University of Sydney. I reside in the Bankstown area in the south west of Sydney.

If you ever need useful study notes, please check out the notes section of my site @ http://intrepix.tripod.com/. My site also has more info about me, and lots of nice photos from all over the place... =)

I am a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Australian law and Wikipedia:WikiProject Sydney.

ciao!

Law articles

I must say that I'm quite disappointed at the state of the law articles on Wikipedia. The major problem is that while Australian/British/American law are quite similar (all common law), they differ substantially. Wikipedia's editors come from all over the globe and in many of the law articles, law from different countries have been mashed together into one confused article, making it unreadable. On the other hand, some articles ignore other countries all-together, making it unusable...

Shameless self-promotion

  • So vain that I charitably want to believe it's a joke by an acquaintance of his. He's on Category:1979 births too -- please could whoever ends up deleting this remove him from there as well? (I'd do it myself now, but it feels like pre-empting the VfD process to remove it before the article goes.) Oh, and delete, of course. Pnot 07:51, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
