I enjoy wikipedia quite alot. It is a profound way to share information and above all, knowledge. I come on the site when I have a good amount of free time. I've worked on many articles on Wikipedia and plan to work on a lot more.
I currently work as a sociology professor & a writer for several not too well known megazines (in North America anyway) I am very interested in the topics of history and political sociology/politics. A native of Nanjing, China, and currently residing between Beijing and Calgary, Alberta, my chinese name is Fang Hongshi. My English name is Gordon Fang. People refer to me as Gordie, you could do so if you wish in my talk pages. I travel between countries alot searching for sociological patterns. No need to go on about that here. In my free time I enjoy sports. I am an avid Soccer and Ice Hockey fan; I am also constantly reading, the fictions I enjoyed the most are John Grisham novels and Zhou Meisen's Chinese political novels.
When I first found out about wikipedia when I was doing an internet search about a historic topic I was so impressed that I decided to donate much of my time into wikipedia works in English and Chinese.
I have, since the summer of 2003, worked on various China-related articles. I see yet another opportunity to do this in the near future. Support would be great.
