The fourth USS Bainbridge (DDG-96) is the 46th of 62 planned Arleigh Burke-class destroyers in the United States Navy.
She was launched on 13 November 2004 at Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine, sponsored by Susan Bainbridge Hay, Commodore William Bainbridge's great-great-great-granddaughter. Commander John M. Dorey is scheduled to be her first commanding officer when she is commissioned in November 2005.
