Ternopil Oblast (Тернопільська область, Ternopil’s’ka oblast’ or Тернопільщина, Ternopil’shchyna in Ukrainian; Tarnopol in Polish; Ternopol in Russian) is an oblast (province) of Ukraine. Its capital is Ternopil.
Before World War II the area was a part of the Tarnopol Voivodship.
