South Staffordshire is a local government district in Staffordshire, England. It lies to the north and west of Wolverhampton, and contains no towns of major size. Indeed, most of the settlements within the district are dormitory villages for the city.
It was created in 1974 to replace Seisdon Rural District Council.
Its council is based in Codsall, and other villages in the district include Seisdon, Kinver, Wombourne (officially the largest village in England), Trysull and Pattingham.
The district covers a similar geographic area as South Staffordshire parliamentary constituency.
