Paul Wild (Swiss astronomer)

Prof. Paul Wild [pronounced Vilt] of Berne, Switzerland is an astronomer who discovered numerous comets and asteroids. Not to be confused with the radio astronomer Paul Wild of Australia.
He was formerly director of the Astronomical Institute of the University of Berne from 1980 to 1991 [1] (http://www.aiub.unibe.ch/). He observed at Zimmerwald Observatory near Berne.
He discovered a number of comets, including periodic comets 63P/Wild, 81P/Wild, 86P/Wild and 116P/Wild.
He discovered a number of asteroids, including notably the Apollo asteroid 1866 Sisyphus and the Amor asteroids 2368 Beltrovata and 3552 Don Quixote.
