Northeast Kingdom

Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is the northeast corner of this American state, comprising Essex County, Orleans County, and Caledonia County. The area was given that name by U.S. Senator George D. Aiken, when commenting on its beauty.
The kingdom is a year round recreation destination known for skiing, fall foliage, and maple syrup.
