Northeast Conference

The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a college athletic conference which operates in the northeastern United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I-AA for football and Division I for all other sports.
There are thirteen partial or full-time member schools:
- University at Albany [football-only member]
- Central Connecticut State University
- Fairleigh Dickinson University [no football program]
- Long Island University [no football program]
- Monmouth University
- Mount St. Mary's University [no football program]
- Quinnipiac University [no football program]
- Robert Morris University
- Sacred Heart University
- St. Francis College (NY) [no football program]
- St. Francis College (PA)
- Stony Brook University [football-only member]
- Wagner College
