This article refers to the village: for the glen itself, see Glen Coe.
Glencoe village is the main settlement in Glen Coe, Scotland. It lies at the north-west end of the glen, at the point where the River Coe enters Loch Leven (a salt-water arm of Loch Linnhe) at Invercoe. Administratively, the village lies in the southern part of the Lochaber area of Highland Council Area; it is considered part of the traditional county of Argyll.
Historically the village was sited further east, near the Clachaig Inn. This was the location of the Massacre of Glencoe.
