Bay Shore is a small, unincorporated community located on the boundary between Charlevoix County and Emmet County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is situated on a ridge overlooking the Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan. Bay Shore is on U.S. Highway 31, which connects with U.S. Highway 131 at Petoskey, about 10 miles to the west and with Michigan State Highway 66 at Charlevoix about 10 miles to the east. Boyne City is about 15 miles to the south by county roads.
