American Football League Hall of Fame logo
The American Football League Hall of Fame in Amherst, New York, United States, exists "only in cyberspace", to quote its founders. The site points out that of two hundred and twenty-five members of the pro football hall of fame, only one (Billy Shaw) was not an NFL player; and that numerous clearly great players from the AFL have been ignored, including Johnny Robinson, Ron McDole, Lionel Taylor and others.
The site's aim is to honor the American Football League players, coaches and contributors .
Inductees into the American Football League Hall of Fame are listed below, by team. When a person played with more than one club, he is listed repeatedly (e.g., George Blanda is listed with the Houston Oilers and the Oakland Raiders).
