He played linebacker for the American Football League's Houston Oilers, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins. Wahoo McDaniel is a member of the American Football League Hall of Fame.
Wrestling Career
Wahoo McDaniel is a legend in pro wrestling who wrestled in various NWA regions and also in the AWA. He had many great matches against Nature Boy Ric Flair, Greg the Hammer Valentine, and Tully Blanchard.
He formed successful tag teams with Jose Lothario, Ron Garvin, Billy Jack Haynes, Mark Youngblood and Tully Blanchard as the "Awesome Twosome".
Wahoo is considered to be one of the true tough guys in professional wrestling.
He wrestled as a heel and as a face. He was good at both and always had the fans behind him or against him, never in between.
