Zazie (born Evi Moechel in Zweibrücken, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany), is a German cyberartist and Webist based in Austria. She creates digital images by manipulating digital photographs with software programs such as Adobe Photoshop. She has had several shows, won several awards, and exhibits all of her work online. The IEEE magazine Computer Graphics featured her work in the cover story of its May/June 2003 edition.
Zazie worked as a newspaper and magazine photographer for 15 years until devoting her attention to digital imagery in 1997.
She won first place in the digital art category at Art Dept's 2003 International Art Contest (http://www.artdept.com.au/contest03/) for a piece she made using Bryce and Photoshop, entitled Planet X.
