Wizzair is a Polish/Hungarian low-cost airline focusing on the markets of Central Europe. Its main bases are Ferihegy Airport (BUD), Budapest and Katowice Airport (KTW), with hubs at Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport (WAW) and Gdansk Airport (GDN).

History
The airline was established in September 2003 and in December 2003 was funded by private individuals (Indigo Partners). It started operations on 19 May 2004.
Services
International scheduled destinations (at January 2005): Athens, Brussels, Dortmund, Gdansk, Katowice, Liverpool, London, Malmo, Milan, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Turin and Warsaw.
Fleet
The Wizzair fleet consists of 6 Airbus A320-200 aircraft (at April 2005), with a further one on order. The fleet is painted in white, pink and purple.
