The Pokémon Wigglytuff is evolved form of Jigglypuff. A cute little pink blob just like its unevolved counterpart, Wigglytuff has an even twistier forehead curl, a white underbelly and rabbit ears.
Name Origin
"Wigglytuff" refers to this Pokémon's wiggliness. The fix "tuff" may be "tough," "tuft," or merely a deliberately made-up word that rhymes with "puff" in "Jigglypuff," its devolved form.
Anime Information
One of Wigglytuff's most memorable TV moments arises in English episode 69 (Lights, Camera, Quacktion!), in which Wigglytuff is a Pokémon actress with a terrible temper reminiscent of her pre-evolved form, Jigglypuff. When Ash, Brock, and Misty's pokémon audition for a movie lacking pokémon actors, Wigglytuff slaps all of them for upstaging her. She then proceeds to sing loudly, putting everyone to sleep. However, in a stroke of ironic fate, she gets placed in the movie with Misty's Psyduck, though the two eventually fall in love.
