Feebas is a fictional character from the Pokémon franchise. This Water-type Pokémon evolves into Milotic if the player feeds it enough "Pokéblocks" to enchance its beauty.
Feebas has appeared in the Japanese Pokémon TV series episode, "The Fishing Master and the Giant Whiscash!"; Team Rocket's Jessie thinks poorly of it and flicks it off her hair when Feebas jumps out of the water, attracted to it. Feebas has also "appeared" when a salesman disgiused a Magikarp as a Feebas with paint in exchange for a rare pearl which gives Spoink its psychic abilities.

Name Origin
The name Feebas is a portmanteau of the words feeble and bass. Its Japanese name Hinbasu means "poor bass".
Locating Feebas
Feebas is located in the water on Route 119. It can only be encountered by fishing, and any rod will work. Finding a Feebas is difficult because of the unusual method that is used to determine his location. Unlike all other Pokémon, Feebas can not be found on all tiles in the route it is located in. Instead, there are exactly six water tiles where Feebas can be caught. These six tiles, which are often called "Feebas tiles," are randomly chosen when the game is begun and are randomly changed when the trendy phrase in Dewford Town is modified. There is no known way to determine which tiles are Feebas tiles apart from trial and error, which often makes locating Feebas a lengthy process.
Evolution
Feebas also evolves in a unique manner. To evolve, Feebas must be given Pokéblocks that increase its beauty stat. If it achieves the maximum possible beauty, it evolves into Milotic.
Differences between Magikarp and Feebas
- Magikarp cannot learn any TMs or HMs. Feebas can.
- Magikarp evolves at level 20 into Gyarados while Feebas evolves into a Milotic after getting its beauty to the max.
