Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- If you haven't already, please add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
Chinese language map
You have added a new Chinese language map. It bears a clear copyright notice. Have you secured copyright permission? (Or, are you the copyright owner?) Thanks. P0M 01:06, 31 May 2004 (UTC)
- I'm also wondering the same. Do you have permission to use the [[Image:Sinitic Languages.jpg]] image? --Vikingstad 14:08, Jun 22, 2004 (UTC)
I am the copyright owner. -naus
- Could you please post a note on the image page stating so? You might also considering licensing it under the GFDL. See Wikipedia:Copyrights for more information. Thanks! Diberri | Talk 02:39, Jul 1, 2004 (UTC)
- Note that this image is now being considered for deletion. A clear copyright notice would certainly be helpful. Lupin 13:15, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
