My name is Claus Wilke. I hold a PhD in theoretical physics, with specialization in physics of biological systems. I am mostly working in theoretical population genetics, in particular virus evolution. I am also interested in digital organisms.
I have published over 30 publications in scientific journals, among them Nature, Genetics, Evolution, and Phys. Rev. Lett. I am regularly asked to review work by others. I have reviewed for Proc. R. Soc. London B, PLoS Biology, J. Theor. Biol., and Phys. Rev. Lett., among others.
Articles within Wikipedia that I have initiated (some of which have since been edited substantially):
- Genotype-phenotype distinction, Fitness landscapes, Quasispecies model (these were originally written for Nupedia).
- Arbovirus, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Asymptotic analysis, Avida, Competitive exclusion principle, Digital organisms, Edgeworth series, Experimental evolution, Exponential integral, Hepadnaviridae, Mutational meltdown, Mononegavirales, Picornaviridae, Physical Review, Reed Elsevier, Rhabdoviridae, Saddle-point method, Vesicular stomatitis virus, Virus evolution, William Dallinger.
Articles that I have edited substantially:
I have also contributed some diagrams and illustrations: User:Wilke/Images.
Finally, I have also contributed many stub articles of which I haven't kept track, and made countless other edits within Wikipedia. [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Special:Contributions&target=User:Wilke&offset=0&limit=50&hideminor=0 Click here for a complete list of my contributions.]
