I am biased in favor of the following things: America (particularly California and the West), libertarianism, caucasian (and, to a lesser extent, asian) ethnicities, and agnosticism. I try, usually successfully, to keep these biases in check in all of my edits.
Wikipedia activities
I made my first edit on May 2, 2004, though I remained mostly inactive until October of 2004. I made my 1000th edit (to this page) on January 18, 2005. I became an admin on March 29, 2005.
I write and expand articles in any area that interests me. Unintentionally, I've done a lot of writing on articles related to California geography.
I regularly patrol a number of pages in other namespaces, particularly New Pages page, as well as Recent Changes and VfD.
I can occasionally be found on IRC using the nick ITEXPL0DIATE. Note the use of the number zero.
Wikipolitics
I consider myself a deletionist, mainly because I have an interest in deleting junk articles. However, I'm less likely to support deletion for borderline stuff than other deletionists.
I think the requirements for adminship are too stringent. After all, "current Wikipedia policy is to grant this access liberally to anyone who has been an active Wikipedia contributor for a while and is generally a known and trusted member of the community." That said, I also support a simpler method of removing adminship. I do not support requests for de-adminship.
I support the further expansion of speedy deletion.Articles
Unlike many other Wikipedians, I don't keep a list of articles on my user page. I don't find it to be a productive use of my time to create and update such a list. If you'd like to get an idea of what I'm working on currently, check out my watchlist dump.

With my power I stop bread's spread I am also that on which you tread Flip me over and you shall sing Fervid praises fit for a king
What am I? Err... wine? You "tread" on grapes to crush them, and if you "flip" your glass a few times to many, you may be inclined to "sing". Don't know where bread fits in though. -- Scott eiπ 08:05, May 10, 2005 (UTC)
