I had been editing Wikipedia a great deal, but then I got pretty busy. I apologise to anybody who dislikes stubs. I created a lot about control theory, which I will slowly flush out if nobody else does.
Sensei's Library introduced me to the power of Wikis. I actually came across Wikipedia a while ago (maybe one or two years) but I didn't think it would succeed -- I didn't know what or how powerful Wikis were. I was reintroduced to Wikipedia in early 2004 by someone at work. It is shocking how awesome it has become. Hopefully Wikibooks (http://wikibooks.org/wiki/Main_page) will someday do the same.
One of the great applications of wikis is users manuals. Because they are typically written by experts for amateurs, they tend to suck (even though they contain most of the information). With a wiki, we can fix that -- even if you don't feel like an expert, you can edit experts' material such that it is understandable.
I'm the webmaster on the domain http://rs2.us (which is dysfunctional at the moment). I'm putting MediaWiki up there.
