Hello, my name is Kevin Rector and I am a computer programmer from Nashville, Tennessee.
I discovered Wikipedia on May 28, 2004.
On January 31, 2005 I made my 5000th edit.

Utilities
Kevin Bot / WikiSweet
I've written a bot to do some of the tedious work of the Wikipedia. It runs as User:KevinBot. I also now use this user when I do disambiguation with wikipedia:solve_disambiguation.py.
The source for my bot is closed to protect against malicious users.
It has evolved from a simple command line utility that I re-wrote for each job to a full GUI module suite. I will probably open source it at some point in the future, it's not ready for the prime time yet.
HTML Table syntax to Wiki Table Syntax Converter
I wrote a web page that uses JavaScript to convert HTML table syntax to Wiki table syntax. You can use it at http://www.wackyboy.com/ConvertHtmlTableToWikiTable.html.
