| Greetings! I'm Gregory, a Canadian leftist nonreligious twentysomething Wikipedian residing in Toronto, Ontario. I am an accredited gemmologist (FGA) and have studiously edited Wikipedia since December 2003.
Aside from gemmology and gems (and by association, mineralogy & geology), my primary interests include ichthyology, entomology, astronomy, and the natural sciences in general. I am a member of Wikiprojects Tree of Life, Primates, Cephalopods, and Rocks and Minerals. The subjects of my articles and images are largely within these aforementioned areas. I am an Administrator and much of my logged-in time is spent monitoring RC for vandalism; most of my edits are related to this unremitting scourge. I do take a break now and then to write something useful, and I've been known to take requests.
