Autohagiographicus Binadoti
I am a young male of mixed Punjabi and Anglo-Indian extraction currently living in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. I was born in Hyderabad, India and spent most of my life in Virginia Beach. I am now a student at the University of Virginia. I've been a registered user since February of 2004, although I have edited since early 2003, and I've used Wikipedia since 2002.
Politically, as in my interests, I am somewhat eclectic. I am opposed to nationalism, chauvinism, racism, and all forms of intellectual dogmatism. Of course, I still find these things interesting. I suppose I could be called a materialist. Practically speaking, I am a humanist, in the same sense that a fish is a fishist. I believe in non-violence and logic. I find most forms of religion and government unappealing, and philosophically, I am more or less a nontheist, although most of my family is Smartist or Anglican. I have a scholarly interest in Zen Buddhism and Neo-Buddhism, although I don't practice any form of religion.
With respect to VfD, I identify myself as a "commonsensist", like Chriscf. It seems that a lot of Wikipedians base their votes on political concerns, i.e. whether it matches their identity as inclusionists or deletionists. I believe pages should be judged on their own merit.
I tend to make very bold edits, so don't be afraid to revert what I've written, or edit the hell out of it, or leave a message at my talk page. Don't worry about offending me: I'm probably drunk.
I tend to work in solitude, but if you leave me a message I'd be glad to help out with any little thing (as long as it roughly corresponds to my interests).
