USS Doyle (FFG-39) is an Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided missile frigate of the United States Navy. Her keel was laid down by Bath Iron Works Corporation of Bath, Maine, on 23 October 1981. She was launched on 22 May 1982 and commissioned on 21 May 1983.

At about 8am local time on 11 September 2003, Doyle received a request from the German frigate FGS Niedersachsen (F208) to allow a close pass to starboard. The crew of Niedersachsen rendered honors to the United States by manning the rail in their dress uniforms, their covers held over their hearts.
