Theo-Ben Gurirab

Theo-Ben Gurirab (born January 23, 1939) was the second Prime Minister of Namibia, and served from August 27, 2002 until March 21 2005. Previously he had been Foreign Minister, from independence in 1990. He is considered a founding father of Namibia, and was in a leadership position in the South West Africa People's Organisation, now the governing party. He was also the chairman of the United Nations general assembly from 1999 until 2000.
