The 4400 is a science fiction program on the USA Network. It began as a miniseries of five episodes, which aired weekly from July 11 to August 8, 2004; a second season of thirteen episodes began airing on June 5th, 2005. It was created and written by Scott Peters and René Echevarria. It stars Joel Gretsch and Jacqueline McKenzie.

In the pilot episode, what is originally thought to be a comet deposits a group of exactly four thousand, four hundred people in the Seattle, Washington, region. All of the 4,400 had gone missing at various points starting from 1946. None of the people remember anything from the time of the disappearance onward, and are disoriented.

  • Tom Baldwin: Baldwin's nephew is Shawn Farrell; Shawn was with Baldwin's son Kyle during the abduction, and Kyle was in a coma for three years.
  • Diana Skouris: Tom's partner. The eight-year old pre-cog Maia asks to move in with her at some point in S1.
  • Dennis Ryland: Baldwin and Skouris' supervisor and director of the Seattle bureau of NTAC during season one. He is succeeded by Nina Jarvis in season two.

Music in the series

Theme song, "A Place In Time" by Amanda Abizaid.

So long ago, another life, I can feel your heartbeat.

It's not a dream, remember us. I can see it in your eyes.

We'll find our place in time, A place in time beyond the sun.

We'll find our place in time, A place in time to call our own.

"Worry about you" - By Ivy

The song heard during the very moving sequence in the pilot, when all the characters realize their old life is gone
...Bye bye baby
Don't be long
I'll worry about you
While you're gone...
