This is great resource to have but is redundant with Wikipedia:List of images, and I think it should probably be in the Wikipedia: namespace, because these aren't encyclopedia articles per se, but resources for use in articles, and it would be consistent with other similar articles such as Wikipedia:Public domain resources. - I agree with you that the higher-level articles such as Images in Wikipedia and Images of animals probably belong rather into the Wikipedia: namespace. I am unsure about the lower-level articles, such as Images of sheep, or Flower album, which have so far been considered regular articles. Should gallery articles always be in the Wikipedia: namespace?
- If we decide to move these articles over to the Wikipedia namespace, what's the best procedure for this move?

I think that the best way to integrate is to just copy and paste images into Wikipedia:list of images in the proper categories. Feel free to make any changes you want to the categorization system, its not set in stone at this point. Theon 04:46, Jul 16, 2004 (UTC)
- We can also move the relevant pages, if they don't already exist, that preserves the history. I will get a start on that if somebody doesn't beat me to it... I think they should all be the wikipedia: namespace, unless they are encyclopedia articles themselves. - Fine. However, I think we should discuss under what conditions an image gallery is an encyclopedia article. Does the Images of sheep page, for example, count as regular article, or should it be moved into the wikipedia: namespace? I am not sure about the answer to this question, and would like to hear what other people think. Wilke 18:15, 16 Jul 2004 (UTC)
