Talihina is a town located in Le Flore County, Oklahoma. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,211.

Talihina is located at 34°45'6" North, 95°2'28" West (34.751602, -95.041207)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.2 km² (0.8 mi²). 2.2 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,211 people, 463 households, and 292 families residing in the town. The population density is 556.6/km² (1,445.4/mi²). There are 548 housing units at an average density of 251.9/km² (654.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 54.75% White, 1.07% African American, 37.16% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.17% from other races, and 6.77% from two or more races. 1.16% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 463 households out of which 30.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.8% are married couples living together, 16.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.9% are non-families. 33.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.50 and the average family size is 3.21.
