Superior is a town located in Pinal County, Arizona. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 3,254.

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 3,254 people, 1,237 households, and 847 families residing in the town. The population density is 651.0/km² (1,684.6/mi²). There are 1,470 housing units at an average density of 294.1/km² (761.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 72.68% White, 0.46% Black or African American, 1.63% Native American, 0.34% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 23.05% from other races, and 1.75% from two or more races. 69.08% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,237 households out of which 26.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.3% are married couples living together, 14.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 31.5% are non-families. 27.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.63 and the average family size is 3.20.
