Skeleton Crew (1985) is a short story collection by Stephen King. It is his second short story collection, after Night Shift (third if you count the novella collection Different Seasons, which was published after Night Shift). It is followed by the novella collection Four Past Midnight and the short story collection Nightmares & Dreamscapes as King's next two short story collections.

Adaptations
The Mist was adapted into a text-based computer game.
The Raft was adapted into a segment of the film Creepshow 2. Paranoid was adapted to film. Gramma was adapted into an episode of The Twilight Zone. Word Processor of the Gods was adapted into an episode of Tales from the Darkside.
