Shuppet is a puppet Pokémon of the Ghost type. It is quite cute actually. It can learn most of Banette's moves. It can be caught at Mt. Pyre in both Ruby and Sapphire and Route 121 and 123 also in Sapphire. It evolves into Banette at level 37. Unlike other ghost Pokemon, Shuppet has a good Attack. It cannot be put to sleep, either.
Shuppet is probably the only Pokémon of the ghost type that could be considered cute. Being a ghost-type, it is very lightweight and it likes to eat emotions. Shuppet has made an apperance on the show in the episode "Take this House and Shuppet" where the Shuppet ate the sad emotions of anyone inside the mansion.
Shuppet is based on a japanese legend told to little kids about taking care of their toys. They were told if you mistreated your toys, they would come back to life and haunt you.
