Scotsport is recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's longest running sports television programme. The program is still broadcast by Scottish Television on the ITV network.
The show began on 18 September, 1957, and has been known mostly for its dedicated coverage of football from the Scottish Premier League and more recently the coverage of the Scottish First Division.
The show also follows Scottish clubs in the Champions League via live matches and highlights programs.
The modern day Scotsport, presented by Jim Delahunt, is shown in two segments. Scotsport First is shown on a Sunday afternoon featuring highlights from the Scottish First Division and Scotsport SPL is shown on Monday nights which shows highlights of the matches from the Scottish Premier League.
