Sandy Creek is a village located in Oswego County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 789.
The Village of Sandy Creek in the central part of the Town of Sandy Creek. The village is located by US Route 11.
Geography

A stream called "Little Sandy Creek" flows past the north side of the village.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.7 km² (1.4 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 789 people, 311 households, and 208 families residing in the village. The population density is 213.0/km² (552.2/mi²). There are 338 housing units at an average density of 91.3/km² (236.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.73% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.51% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.13% from other races, and 0.63% from two or more races. 0.38% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 311 households out of which 30.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.8% are married couples living together, 11.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 32.8% are non-families. 26.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.54 and the average family size is 3.04.
