Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 3,164 people, 1,013 households, and 836 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 38.7/km² (100.2/mi²). There are 1,099 housing units at an average density of 13.4/km² (34.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 70.10% White, 0.35% Black or African American, 0.88% Native American, 1.45% Asian, 0.19% Pacific Islander, 23.74% from other races, and 3.29% from two or more races. 67.13% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,013 households out of which 48.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.4% are married couples living together, 8.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 17.4% are non-families. 14.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.12 and the average family size is 3.47.
