Poland is a village located in Herkimer County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 451.
The Village of Poland is in the Town of Newport and the Town of Russia. The village is 16 miles north of the county seat in Herkimer. Poland is at the junction of Routes 8 and 28.

The Village of Poland was incorporated in 1890.

West Canada Creek flows past the south side of the village.
