The word point can refer to:
- a location in physical space
- a unit of angular measurement; see navigation
- the point that is a typographic unit of measure equal <math>1/72.27<math> inch or sometimes approximated as <math>1/72<math> inch; on computer displays it should be equal to point in typography if the correct display resolution is set, and is often the height of one or two pixels if the resolution is set to 72 or 144 dpi respectively
- also in typography, a point may be a dot character (e.g.: full stop; middle dot) as in the expression, decimal point.
