No Slacking

No Slacking is a character from the children's television show Chucklevision, played by Jimmy Patton, the elder brother of Paul and Barry Chuckle. His name comes from his frequently-used catch phrase, as he usually takes the role of somebody who has employed the Chuckle Brothers to carry out some sort of task. The brothers are not supposed to be acquainted with him and he is supposed to represent a different person in every episode, despite him being always listed in the credits as "No Slacking". Invariably, he is driven to near insanity by the bumbling antics of Paul and Barry, as almost every attempt they make to carry out his tasks results in him being injured, covered in mud, or suffering some other form of discomfort or inconvenience.
Episodes featuring No Slacking are often the most amusing as Jimmy Patton is also a pantomime actor, which allows him to play the role of the long-suffering victim of the brothers' antics with great comic value.
