Maya Bazar (released in 1957) is a Telugu mythological movie based on characters from the Mahabharata.
In the movie, Balarama vows to marry his daughter Sasirekha to Abhimanyu, the son of Arjuna and Subhadra. But as Pandavas lose their kingdom and wealth in the famous gamble of the Mahabharata, Revati (the wife of Balarama) forces her husband to marry their daughter off to Lakshmana Kumara, a Kaurava prince and the son of Duryodhana.
Ghatothkaja, Abhimanyu's cousin, unable to withstand the insult approaches Lord Krishna for help. Krishna directs him to take the form of Maya Sasirekha (a duplicate Sasirekha) and marry off the original Sasirekha to Abhimanyu.
