The London Borough of Harrow is a London borough of outer northwest London. It borders Hertfordshire to the north and other London boroughs: Hillingdon to the west, Ealing to the south, Brent to the southeast and Barnet to the east.
It was formed in 1965 from the Middlesex borough of Harrow. The Middlesex borough was a municipal borough, promoted from an urban district on the 4th of May 1954. The 50th anniversary of the promotion was celebrated by Harrow in April 2004, which included a visit to Harrow by Queen Elizabeth II .
